02 Jun [ADIPOGEN]: New and Unique SARS-CoV-2 Variants Neutralizing Antibodies Detection Assays and Proteins
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began a range of SARS-CoV-2 variants have emerged across the world. Most attention has been drawn on fast-spreading variants, recently identified B.1.1.7 (UK), B.1.351 (South Africa) and P.1 (Brazil). Scientists suspect that the variantsâ particular patterns of mutations have the potential to affect their transmissibility, virulence and/or ability to evade parts of the immune system. The latter could make people with vaccine-induced or natural immunity to SARS-CoV-2 vulnerable to becoming reinfected with novel variants and these possible effects remain under investigation.
After the release of its highly specific SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing Antibodies Detection Kit (Prod. No. AG-48B-0002) last year,  AdipoGen Life Sciences has now developed and produced new and unique Neutralizing Antibodies Detection Kits for the UK, Brazil and South African Variants of SARS-CoV-2. All assays are unique and are available from stock.
